This past weekend, Downtown Superior became a little more colorful thanks to Superior Mural Festival presented by Street Wise Arts.
Each Fall, Street Wise Arts put on a mural festival, bringing artists and the local community together. Usually the festival is based in Boulder, but this year I'm excited that it was a little closer to us in Downtown Superior.
You know I'm a big fan of street art, so this event had my name written all over it!
The festival may be over, but the murals are here to stay, so let's take a look at them...
This year's festival theme was Nature & Regrowth, and you'll see this reflected in each of the murals with plenty of wildlife and nature featured. As with all street art festivals, I love that the theme has been interpreted in many different ways and styles.
If you'd like to take a look at the murals for yourself, you can follow the map below which shows each of the locations throughout Downtown Superior. The Arts Market and Live Music icons on the map were for the festival only. You can also click here for an interactive map.
I've added links to each artist's Instagram page on their names. Click each artist's name to see more of their work and give them a follow.
